What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use Ochtagon so we can improve it.

We only use cookies that are necessary for the platform to function, or that you consent to. We never sell your data to third parties.

Cookies We Use

The table below lists the cookies set by Ochtagon and what they're used for.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling Required cookies will log you out and prevent you from using core features of Ochtagon.

Third-Party Services

Ochtagon uses a small number of trusted third-party services that may set their own cookies:

PostHog — Product Analytics

We self-host our PostHog instance at fun.ochtagon.com to keep your data off third-party servers. PostHog helps us understand how features are used so we can build a better product. No data is sold or shared.

Supabase — Authentication & Database

Supabase manages authentication tokens as secure HTTP-only cookies. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without logging you out.

Our Commitment

Ochtagon is committed to making our platform usable by as many people as possible. We strive to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility guidelines across the product.

This is an ongoing effort. If you encounter any barrier while using Ochtagon, please let us know — we take accessibility feedback seriously and prioritise fixes.

Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone.
Colour Contrast
Text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios against our dark backgrounds.
Semantic HTML
Headings, landmarks, and ARIA roles help screen readers navigate the page.
Alt Text
Images and icons include descriptive alternative text where appropriate.
Resizable Text
The layout remains functional when browser text size is increased up to 200%.
Reduced Motion
Animations are suppressed for users who prefer reduced motion via OS settings.

Known Limitations

We're actively working to improve accessibility across the platform. Known areas in progress:

  • Fight Pick Cards

Some interactive pick cards rely on click events without full keyboard equivalents. This is on our roadmap.

  • Live Score Updates

Dynamically updating score counters don't yet announce changes to screen readers via ARIA live regions.

  • Complex Data Tables

Leaderboard and stats tables need improved header associations for full screen-reader compatibility.

Standards & Guidelines

We reference the following standards in our accessibility work:

WCAG 2.1 — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

Our target conformance level is AA. We test against criteria in the Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust categories.

WAI-ARIA 1.2 — Accessible Rich Internet Applications

We use ARIA roles, states, and properties to supplement native HTML semantics for complex widgets.
