Scoring System Overview

This isn’t your average win or lose scoreboard, it’s a high stakes arena where knowledge, bold risk taking, and flawless predictions collide. Every choice you make can rack up points, trigger multipliers, and unlock massive bonuses. Playing it safe might keep you in the game, but daring calls and perfect foresight are how legends are made. It’s not just scoring, it’s a battlefield of strategy, guts, and glory.

A perfect pick requires:

  • Correct winner
  • Correct method of victory
  • Correct round (for KO/TKO & Submission)

Total: +75 points per perfect pick!

Streak Bonuses

Win Streak Bonus

Build momentum with consecutive correct picks! Streak bonuses start after 3 correct picks in a row.

3+ correct picks in a row +5 per fight
Maximum streak bonus per fight +20

Streaks reset when you make an incorrect pick. Build your streak carefully!

Event Bonuses

Perfect Pick Bonuses

  • +25 Main Event Perfect Pick
  • +50 Prelim Event Perfect Pick

Earn these by getting all main event or prelim fights perfect!

Special Bonuses

  • 2x Octopick Multiplier
  • +100 Mystic Mac Pick
  • +10 Duck Pick Bonus

Octopick: Double points on one fight per event
Mystic Mac: Main event perfect with method & round
Duck Pick: Predict which fighter will pull out

Octopick Feature

What is an Octopick?

An Octopick is a special pick that doubles your points for one fight per event. It's your chance to maximize your score on your most confident prediction.

  • One Octopick per event
  • Doubles all points (positive or negative)
  • Can be changed until event starts
  • Works with all scoring bonuses

Octopick Scoring Examples

Perfect Pick with Octopick

Regular: +75 points → Octopick: +150 points

Wrong Pick with Octopick

Regular: -15 points → Octopick: -30 points

Partial Pick with Octopick

Regular: +20 points → Octopick: +40 points

Octopick Strategy Tips

When to Use Octopick:

Q: Do I have to pick method and round?

A: No! You can just pick the winner for +25 points. Method and round predictions are optional but increase your potential score.

Q: How do streak bonuses work?

A: After 3 correct picks in a row, you earn +5 bonus points per fight. This caps at +20 per fight. Streaks reset when you make an incorrect pick.

Q: What's a Mystic Mac pick?

A: A Mystic Mac pick is getting all the main card fights perfect (winner + method + round) for a massive +100 bonus points!

Q: Can I change my picks after submitting?

A: Picks can only be changed before the event starts. Once the first fight begins, all picks are locked in.

Q: How are ties broken on the leaderboard?

A: Ties are broken by perfect pick count, then by total correct picks, then by earliest submission time.

Q: How does the Octopick work?

A: The Octopick doubles all points (positive or negative) for one fight per event. You can change it until the event starts, and it works with all scoring bonuses including perfect pick bonuses.

Q: Can I have multiple Octopicks?

A: No, you can only have one Octopick per event. Choose wisely as it can significantly impact your score!
